Naturally artistic, an encounter with Sandy Skoglund cemented a passion for photography, and he trained formally to immerse himself in its world. He took to his professional pursuit with total commitment and at the whim of opportunity. When a studio in St. Louis beckoned, he left Ohio that very night.
