Thomas Hoeffgen is an award-winning visual artist known for his ability to create "playgrounds" wherever he goes—whether it's behind the lens or out on the waves. Born in Kiel, Germany, Thomas discovered his passion for photography while working on a ship with troubled youths during his civic service. Sailing the Canary Islands, he began capturing spontaneous moments, laying the foundation for his future in visual storytelling.
Over the years, his impressive client list has included iconic brands like Timberland, Diesel, Adidas, BMW, Audi, Red Bull, Tommy Hilfiger, Hilton, Reebok, Wrangler, Macy's, Merrell, Under Armour, Les Mills, Harman/JBL, Lands' End, and Westin Hotels. He has also collaborated with world-class agencies such as McCann NY, BBDO, TracyLocke, Pereira & O'Dell, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Publicis NY, and Leo Burnett. His ability to translate dynamic energy into still and moving images has made him a sought-after artist in both commercial and artistic arenas.
Thomas is the founder of Arena Studio, a company dedicated to fostering collaboration across all creative fields, with a particular focus on exploring the possibilities of storytelling through moving and still images.
