Nathan Kirkman is an award-winning photographer with over 50 magazine covers to his credit. After finding his first camera in a trash can of the U.S. Capitol building at the age of ten, he followed his interest in photography to RIT in upstate New York. Assignments have taken him as far as Jordan and Italy; he frequently travels the US for clients such as Wired, Lucky, Wallpaper*, This Old House, Interiors, Chicago Magazine, and Metropolis, among others.
Although Nathan specializes in photographing interiors, architecture and design for editorial and commercial clients, he has also taken on subjects as diverse as a day-in-the-life feature story with The Flaming Lips for NYLON and space satellites and VR simulators for Wired. Nathan was selected to be included in American Photography 32, Communication Arts 2010 Photo Annual & PDN's 2010 Photo Annual.
